GRID Nepal was established in 2003 with the noble objective to promote rural livelihood though innovative technology. We focus mainly on sustainable development through community-oriented approach to improve the living conditions of the rural people. Furthermore, we also have been awarded NDM 2005 as well as NDM 2008 for our continued efforts.

GRID was previously awarded NDM 2005 for the project "Bhujikot Solar Pumping W/S Scheme" by the World Bank. Keeping up with its previous efforst we have once again been awarded NDM 2008 this year again, our project "Technology for Access, Access for Livelihood"
